He is not working in a job that corresponds to his education 27.8 percent of those aged between 15 and 34, i.e. almost a third in Hungary – according to the recently published Eurostat data set for 2024.
Only three are higher than the Hungarian value in the European Union, Spain leads with 28.9 percent.
To the smallest degree In Germany (8.5%), Slovenia (9.6%) and Lithuania (9.8%), 15–34-year-olds are not in jobs corresponding to their qualifications.
In Hungary, however, it is slightly higher than the EU average64.2 percent is the proportion of those who do a job that fully corresponds to their qualification.
That is possiblebecause according to the data, we have the fewest (8%) in the EU who stated that their current workplace only partially matches their qualifications.
The data they include both secondary and higher education.
