Dancel festival in Kaufbeuren

The oldest historical children’s festival Bavaria starts in Kaufbeuren this week: the dancel festival. This year it will take place from Thursday, July 17th to Monday, July 28th. In addition to the start on Thursday at 6.30 p.m. with an ecumenical service and a play with music and dance, the camp life will be on the program on Friday and Saturday: there you can discover the various historical camps in the appearance of torches in the old town, eat and drink or watch the jittering and knight fights.

Music festival “Summer Sound” in Bad Hindelang

The musical highlights await visitors, especially on Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, 2025, on the Kurhaus forecourt and in the village center.

Summer Street food market in Oberstaufen
The third summer street food market in Oberstaufen focuses on one thing: Italian cuisine. From 18 to July 20, Oberstaufen turns into an Italian Piazza with Mediterranean flair and delicatessen. Specialties from South Tyrol to Sicily are offered at various stands.
Entertainment is also taken care of: various stages are played with Italian music throughout the weekend. Entry is free all weekend.
City and children’s festival Lindenberg
The city festival will also take place in Lindeberg this year. This year, visitors can expect a colorful program for young and old on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

It starts in the morning with a children’s flea market, the invasion of the clubs and the traditional beer tapping. All day long there is live music, hands-on activities for children, demonstrations of the fire brigade and THW as well as a wide range of play and handicrafts. Local clubs provide food and drink, admission is free.
Bergfest in the alpspitzbahn in Nesselwang
The mountain festival on the Alpspitzbahn in Nesselwang traditionally takes place on Sunday, July 20th. In addition to a program for children with schnitzel hunt, face painting, bouncy castle, balloon artist and clown, there is also a craftsman market, technology tours at the Alpspitzcoaster and an information stand by the Nesselwang mountain rescue center with hands -on activities and information.
