The yokohama B-Corsairs are actively participating in the B.Hope Goal Project: The Future of Regions Expanded by Goals, a key component of the B.LEAGUE’s socially responsible B.LEAGUE Hope (B.Hope) initiative. This project underscores the team’s dedication to strengthening community bonds through the unifying power of basketball.

The B.Hope Goal Project: A National Movement

Across Japan, B.LEAGUE clubs are collaborating to donate basketball goals to parks and facilities, aiming to inject energy, smiles, and connectivity into local communities. The B.Hope Goal initiative seeks to establish inclusive spaces where individuals from all backgrounds can gather,enjoy basketball,and foster mutual understanding. This aligns with broader efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within Japanese society.

Through the establishment of “B.Hope Goal,” we aim to create a place where no one can gather without discrimination and smile and enjoy basketball, where diversity and inclusion is born where people from diverse backgrounds can recognise each other and live together.

Inaugural Project: Koganecho Elevated Rockkaku

The B-Corsairs’ first project will focus on the koganecho Elevated Rockkaku, a new regional exchange hub opening on June 1, 2025. This hub, located under the Keikyu Line Koganecho Elevated Track, is part of the Keikyu Corporation’s newcal project, an area management initiative. The donation and installation of a basketball goal at this location will provide a valuable recreational space for the community.
