Yahoo! JAPAN Services Discontinued in teh EEA and UK

As of April 6, 2022, access too most services from Yahoo! JAPAN has been discontinued for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. The company cited difficulties in maintaining a continuous service surroundings in those regions.


On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, users in the EEA (European Economic Area) and the United Kingdom lost access to most services provided by Yahoo! JAPAN. The company stated that maintaining consistent service in these regions presented challenges.

The announcement specified that certain services would remain available even after the cutoff date of April 6, 2022.However, the announcement did not specify which services would remain available.

Please note that all Yahoo! JAPAN services are accessible after this date if access is made from japan.

The company clarified that all services from Yahoo! JAPAN remain fully accessible to users accessing them from within Japan.

yahoo! JAPAN issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by this service discontinuation and thanked users for their understanding.
