According to recent leaks, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will focus mainly on visual experience and decent performance, which will be ensured by technology that has not yet been presented.

The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station came on the Weibo social network with information that the novelty will receive a huge 6.9-inch flat OLED panel of the LIPO type. Such a diagonal looks more like a smaller tablet than a phone. However, Xiaomi tries not to make the phone seem like an impractical “paddle”. The designers want to achieve this with extremely narrow, symmetrical bezels that are supposed to be even thinner than the current generation.
In addition to aesthetics, Xiaomi also focused on display quality. The display is supposed to support the BT.2020 color space and can reduce the brightness to just 1 nit at night.

A smaller production process usually means not only higher speed when working with data, but also less heating and longer battery life per charge.
When will we see the new Xiaomi? While the leaked specs are enticing, we’ll have to wait a while for official confirmation. The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max entered the market last September, so it can be assumed that the 18-inch series will appear around the same time this year.
