WWE SmackDown kicked off with a rehash of the 2025 Royal Rumble. The event’s winner, Jey Uso, made his grand entrance through a cheering crowd. The arena echoed with the fans’ “Yeeet,” and Uso took center stage.

Addressing the crowd, Uso spoke about his week, the love from his family, friends, and the fans. The WWE Royal Rumble victor then approached Cody Rhodes. Uso revealed his intention to select a WWE Champion for a stripping match at WrestleMania.

Rhodes, despite being the WWE Champion, expressed hesitation. He shared that his doctor advised him about necessary medical procedures, including draining fluid from his elbow. Despite this, he honored the choice and wished Uso well.

Attacks on Cody Rhodes: Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga

Intervening, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga from The Bar declared themself as Uso’s opponents. Unfortunately for Rhodes, this move set the stage for further confrontation.

The in-ring action saw Fatu and Tonga overpowering Cody, using superkicks and hips tosses. Despite his efforts, Cody was unable to fend off the assault.

The bell rang for the Elimination Chamber QualifyingMatch between Bianca Belair-Naomi and Piper Niven-Chelsea Green. Both teams displayed a mix of athleticism and strategy.

Belair initiated her offense with a KOD attempt, but Niven-Ellis thwarted her efforts. The battle was intense, filled with spears, clotheslines, and holds. DIY and Pretty Deadly Clash

The WWE Tag Team Champions, DIY (Gargano and Ciampa), assumed an air of invincibility after defeating the Motor City Machine Guns at the Royal Rumble. They addressed the crowd and backstage crew, requesting a moment of silence in honor of the forgotten Machine Guns.

However, Nick Aldis, interfering, declared that Pretty Deadly was given the opportunity to earn a tag team title shot. Despite DIY’s protests and their usual clothes, the matchup was made official.

The match began aggressively. Pretty Deadly capitalized on the situation, utilizing double team tactics and a powerful offense to overcome DIY. Prince and Wilson managed to secure the pinfall.

Mens Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Drew McIntyre vs. Jimmy Uso vs. LA Knight

Drew McIntyre, recently eliminated at the Royal Rumble, expressed his anger towards the current Raw dynamics, emphasizing his loyalty to Cody. This set the tone for a heated Elimination Chamber Qualifier match.

The fight involved multiple falls outside the ring, with LA Knight delivering powerful strikes. Jimmy Uso, however, managed to control the action, using his signature moves to ultimately pin Drew McIntyre.

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton Showdown

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler made an appearance as Charlotte Flair entered the ring, radiating arrogance. She praised her own achievements and welcomed back Tiffany Stratton as the new WWE Women’s Champion.

Stratton, acknowledging Flair’s influence, promoted herself as a rising star in the company. The exchange was filled with competitive banter, with Flair outright rejecting Stratton’s desire to challenge for the Women’s Championship.

Further complicating matters, Nia Jossi announced an upcoming women’s title match against Stratton at the Elimination Chamber, setting the stage for more drama.
