RAW Results: Cargill Advances, Rhodes Victorious in King of the Ring

The latest episode of RAW featured semi-final matches for both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, appearances from wrestling legends, and escalating rivalries.

The show opened with glimpses of Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Roxanne Perez, Finn Balor, Jade Cargill, Becky Lynch, and Bayley arriving at the arena.

Seth Rollins, accompanied by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman, kicked off the in-ring action. Rollins addressed the crowd, acknowledging their mixed reactions and asserting his role as a visionary in WWE. He claimed responsibility for the success of figures like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, and declared his faction as the future of WWE. Rollins then turned his attention to Breakker’s upcoming match against Penta, dismissing other wrestlers as contenders for second place.

Match 1: Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman) vs. Penta

The match began after a commercial break.

Queen of the Ring Semi-Finals Match: Roxanne Perez vs. Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

After the match,Asuka confronted Jade Cargill,setting the stage for a future rivalry.

Gunther was shown walking backstage.

Sheamus was shown backstage talking to Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri, and Natalya, expressing his belief in their potential as a tag team. Rusev interrupted, warning Sheamus about being betrayed. Sheamus challenged Rusev, who responded with a threat to create new memories with Sheamus.

Gunther entered the ring and addressed Bill goldberg’s challenge from the previous week. Gunther dismissed Goldberg’s past achievements, asserting his own dominance and vowing to destroy Goldberg’s legacy.

Becky Lynch was preparing for her match when Jackie Redmond approached her for comments. Lynch alluded to a plot involving Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Redmond then interviewed Sami Zayn, who was interrupted by Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Kross mocked Zayn’s loss to Randy Orton, predicting Zayn would never become World Champion. Zayn responded by punching Kross and challenging him to a match, which Kross and Scarlett seemingly orchestrated.

match 3: WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky lynch (c) vs. Bayley

Lynch and Bayley engaged in a physical match, with both women exchanging momentum. the match spilled outside the ring, with Bayley gaining an advantage. after a commercial break, the action continued with near falls and reversals. Outside the ring, Lynch attempted to bury Bayley under chairs, but Lyra Valkyria interfered, attacking Lynch and causing a disqualification.

Winner by DQ and STILL Women’s Intercontinental Champion: Becky Lynch

Valkyria and Bayley argued after the match.

Chad Gable was backstage with Ivy Nile, instructing her to defeat Stephanie Vaquer at any cost. Gable then provoked Penta,leading to Penta attacking Gable backstage as Ludwig Kaiser watched.

Raquel Rodriguez called out Rhea Ripley, demanding a fight. Ripley responded, and the two brawled, with Rodriguez ultimately putting Ripley through a table with a Tejana Bomb, assisted by Roxanne Perez.

Cody Rhodes was shown backstage before his match.

Adam Pearce was confronted by Rhea Ripley, who demanded a match against Raquel Rodriguez. Pearce suggested a street fight.

Match 4: King of the Ring Semi-Finals Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Jey Uso

Rhodes and Uso started with a handshake before engaging in a competitive match. the two traded moves and counters, with neither man gaining a clear advantage. After a commercial break,the match intensified,with both wrestlers executing their signature moves. rhodes ultimately secured the victory after hitting CrossRhodes.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

After the match, Rhodes and Uso exchanged words and embraced, showing respect for each other.
