As the road to No Mercy continues, NXT Champion Oba Femi will team up with his No Mercy challenger, Ricky Saints, in an eight-man tag team match. Femi, Saints, and former Tag Team Champions Hank walker and Tank Ledger will face DarkState’s Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars.

Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin recently defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger for the NXT Tag Team titles at Heatwave.Meanwhile, Ricky Saints secured his title shot against Oba Femi at the upcoming No Mercy PLE by winning a number one contender’s match on this week’s NXT.

The first match of the newly announced WWE Speed Women’s Championship tournament is also scheduled for the September 2nd show. Candice LeRae will face Xia Brookside of TNA Wrestling in the tournament opener.

Additionally, Jaida Parker and Lash Legend are set to settle their ongoing issues in a one-on-one match.
