Regensburg with the double strike
The wolves looked extremely nervous at the beginning of the game and Regensburg knew how to use them immediately. However, the guests were made more than made easy for both goals because there were always individual mistakes preceded here. At first it was Morley, who was released and long posts have no trouble completing. Not even a minute later it was ontl who, in replenishment, to 0: 2 for the polar bears. Selb had to shake and looked for ways and means to get into the encounter. Regensburg continued to stand well and had a reliable goalkeeper with Neffin. The wolves became better and better in this phase and exerted significantly more pressure on the gate of the guests. Neffin was able to save a few times before Sproule brought the wolves onto the scoreboard with a low shot. A good two minutes before the first break, it was Raedeke who, after a mistake in building the guests, failed to Neffin, and then Miglio put the margin to compensate. Self pushed to the next goal, but neglected the defensive here. At first Gajovsky was up and away, but failed due to the strongly reacting Carr. Shortly afterwards, the next single -handedly from Moser this time, but again Carr with the schooner was on hand and saved his team from another backlog.
Wolves dominate at will
In the middle third, the wolves showed a completely different face than in the first section. From the Bully on, the hosts were full and laced Regensburg in their own zone. Only one goal did not want to succeed in the oppressively superior hosts. In duel behavior, too, the wolves completely bought the cutter from the guests. Regensburg had his hands full to ensure relief from time to time. But Selb was still unlucky in their degrees. Whether Marusch, nurse, Sproul – the guests were always lucky on their side. But the wolves stayed on it and ultimately it was Chad Bassen, who prevailed with a nice single -handed over the outside, played out his speed and then skillfully put the puck across Neffin into the corner for more than well -deserved leadership for self. However, the wolves first had to make the final third outnumbered, since Marusch received a penalty period shortly before the third.
Stocher goal leads to extension
The wolves were able to successfully defend the majority of the guests. Shortly thereafter, the now significantly agile polar bears managed to equalize. And again it was an unfortunate goal from the wolves’ perspective. Again the puck in the goal area was free and Demetz was ultimately able to use the goal line. Regensburg was again much more active and the game in the episode was significantly more balanced. There were chances on both sides but another goal didn’t want to fall. Selb pushed for the decision in the final minutes, especially Sproul kept bringing Pucks in front of Neffin dangerously, but no wolve player was able to drop the play equipment decisively. There was still a post shot from Sproul on the side of the hosts, but ultimately it remained with the draw and the decision must be made in overtime.
Selb immediately took over the initiative and was clearly superior again. But as so often in sport, if you don’t score the goals, you get back. With the first real end of the guests, Liss hit the wolves and scored the winning goal.
