The Zagazig District Prosecutor’s Office in Sharkia Governorate decided to imprison a police officer. He was accused of stabbing his wife several times due to disagreements between them in the village of Al-Taybeh, in the Zagazig district, for four days pending investigation.

The security services in the Sharqia Security Directorate received a report stating that a husband assaulted his wife and stabbed her in front of her workplace at a school in the city of Zagazig.
The injured wife was transferred to Zagazig University Hospital, where it was found that he had 9 stab wounds in various parts of the body. The necessary first aid was provided to her, and her general condition is stable.

It turned out that the victim’s husband, a police officer, was behind the incident, and that he had stabbed his wife as a result of family disputes between them because he refused to marry his daughter to a young man who proposed to her. The disputes developed to the point where the husband waited for his wife in front of her uncle’s office, a school, and as soon as she left the school where she worked, he stabbed her.
