Seven months after his disappearance, daily life remains marked by absence, but also by memories. “We talk a lot about her, about the good times, like family outings or the moments spent at home before the illness,” confides Mathieu. For the children as for their father, evoking Hannah helps maintain her presence in the home.
Since the death of his partner, Mathieu has taken sole responsibility for organizing family life.
I continue to take good care of the children, even if it is not easy.
Valuable support also comes from his mother-in-law, who is very present despite her own pain. “She was his only daughter”he recalls with emotion. In addition, Mathieu’s family and friends always provide valuable support to him and his children.
