WhatsApp Message Scheduling: New Feature Revealed

WhatsApp could currently be working on a new function. This should enable users to pre-schedule messages. The feature is expected to come to group and individual chats.

WhatsApp may be working on a new feature that will allow all users to automatically send messages in chats. This feature, which is expected to work in individual and group chats, is called message scheduling. This information comes from WABetaInfo, who discovered this in the beta version 26.7.10.72 of WhatsApp for iOS.

The planned WhatsApp function should be able to do this

The scheduled feature would allow users to schedule messages in advance and send them automatically. All they would have to do is enter a message and select the date and time at which they would like the message to be sent automatically.

The scheduled messages would appear in a Scheduled Messages section on the chat information screen, from where users can delete them before sending.

Scheduled messages on WhatsApp – feature under development

WABetaInfo publishes a screenshot showing the group chat feature, but there is no reason to believe that WhatsApp would not allow scheduling messages for individual chats.

The message scheduling feature is currently in development and is not yet available even to beta users. Therefore, there is no guarantee that it will be released publicly as plans may change.
