WhatsApp continues to be enriched with new features and with the aim of guaranteeing greater security for users. In these hours, the application has announced the arrival of account for Under 13s.
This is a new system that allows very young people to use the messaging application safely and, above all, with parental supervision, thanks to integrated parental controls.

How accounts work for Under 13s
WhatsApp accounts for Under 13s are designed to offer very young people the opportunity to use the messaging application in a more secure way, guaranteeing parents a series of control tools.
The parent, in fact, can monitor the child’s use of WhatsApp and can determine who can contact him and which groups he can participate in.
It should also be noted that the parent has the possibility to view message requests coming from unknown contacts and has the possibility of manage your privacy settings of the minor’s account, in order to regulate the use of the app.
All WhatsApp settings for an Under 13 account cannot be changed without parental approval. Changing these settings, in fact, is protected by a PIN.
It must be highlighted, however, that the Parental controls do not affect the content of conversations and, therefore, the parent cannot access (from his smartphone) the account chats for Under 13s.
