Weather Update: Rain Expected in Coastal Empire and Lowcountry

The Coastal Empire and Lowcountry are bracing for a rainy Saturday as a low-pressure system approaches. The forecast indicates that moisture will concentrate due to a stalled frontal boundary, significantly increasing the likelihood of rain across the region.

scattered showers are expected to intensify, leading to widespread rain and storms by midday. Residents should anticipate that the rain and storms will gradually subside by the evening, with dry conditions expected by sunset.

Sunday will begin with mild temperatures and more extended dry periods compared to Saturday. However, the afternoon may still bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Looking ahead to Labor Day, there is a 30% chance of showers and storms.It is advisable to have indoor backup plans, although dry weather is expected to dominate.

Rain has moved in and will stick around for a lot of saturday.

The upcoming shortened work week will see a return of sunshine, interspersed with typical showers and storms. The probability of storms will slightly increase on Wednesday due to a passing disturbance. Conditions over the Tropical atlantic Ocean are currently not conducive to rapid or important development, owing to near-average water temperatures, dry air, and areas of wind shear. despite approaching the peak of the season, there are still six weeks of peak activity ahead.

As of now, there are no immediate tropical threats to the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
