Indie rock band Wet Leg has released their new single, ‘CPR’, offering fans another glimpse into their forthcoming album.

‘CPR’ is the second track revealed from their highly anticipated album ‘Moisturizer’.The song showcases singer Rhian Teasdale’s signature cynical viewpoint on love, portraying it as a perilous condition. As she sings, “Is this love, or is this suicide?“

Driven by prominent bass lines, Teasdale’s vocals escalate, calling for emergency services amidst a building, almost ecstatic soundscape: “Hello, 999 / What’s your emergency? / Well, the thing is I / I’m in love.”

The band also released a self-directed music video for ‘CPR’,featuring them driving along a winding road in a convertible,complete with head-banging.

‘CPR’ is set to be a key track on ‘Moisturizer’, which follows the release of the lead single ‘Catch These Fists’. the album is scheduled for release on july 11 in multiple formats, including a special edition 3D gatefold cream vinyl with a signed photo, picture disc vinyl, standard vinyl, cassette, CD, and digital versions. Wet Leg initially introduced new material from the album during an intimate show in Brighton in march, performing seven songs, including ‘Jen Bod’, ‘Dave Nah’ and ‘lovestruck’.

The band is scheduled to perform at the O2 Academy in Leeds today (May 28) and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester tomorrow (May 29). Tickets can be found here.
