CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — While everyone from children to adults across the United States get excited for Christmas, a new study shows that no state is looking forward to it more than West Virginia.
The study, conducted by looking at search trends of Christmas keywords in each state such as Santa Claus, advent calendar and Christmas lights, found that West Virginia is the state most excited for Christmas with a score of 82.3.

Meanwhile, the rest of the top five states excited for the holiday include Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennesse.
The state least excited for Christmas was found to be Hawaii with a score of 37.26.
