From Observation to Art: A Weightlifter’s journey

Diego Agudo Pinilla’s exhibition at the El Albéitar Cultural athenaeum offers a unique viewpoint on the athleticism of Belén Toimil, a celebrated figure in Spanish weightlifting. The project originated from an idea by Diego Soto, the Vice chancellor for Sports at the ULE, who encouraged Pinilla to find inspiration in the athletes of the Ceard de León. It was there that Pinilla discovered Toimil, undertaking a comprehensive study of her every movement to inform his artistic vision.
