Linz am Rhein is starting the new year of events with a colorful start: On Friday, January 2, 2026, the city invites you to the first “First Friday” from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Under the motto “Jeck, colorful, Linz!” The city center becomes a lively meeting place where music, cuisine and fashion come together. Longer opening times in shops and restaurants ensure an atmospheric evening and show Linz from its colorful side.

Autohaus Nett Dart Cup
With an anniversary and a top-class program, the Autohaus Nett-Dart Cup attracts people to Mayen on the first weekend in January. From January 2nd to 4th, 2026, the darts spectacle will be celebrated with show, sport and excitement – including a musical start on Saturday, the appearance of darts professional Gabriel Clemens and the traditional raffle at the end on Sunday.

Shore lights
The bank lights in the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler spa park invite you to spend atmospheric hours again in January. Highlights of the weekend are the puppet theater “Tigerwild” on Saturday, January 3rd, at 3 and 5 p.m. on the small stage and two concerts by the Bad Neuenahrer QuAHRtett on Sunday, January 4th, at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
