Local news station Wdam in Hattiesburg, Mississippi has announced that Ross McLeod will be their new evening anchor. McLeod, a Mississippi native, is a graduate of Brandon High School in Brandon, Mississippi, and Mississippi state University.

“I am a Brandon-raised boy, and I love Mississippi,” Ross said.

McLeod comes to the station from WTOK in Meridian, where he has been working as 2022, also producing newscasts.

“So, I am excited to be able to do that here in the Pine Belt region of Mississippi, and here at WDAM.”
