The group stated they felt they had exhausted all other avenues to engage with the VU management.

We tried everything to get the VU to listen to us, but in vain. We saw no other option than escalating,so we have occupied the Bellevu building. Occupation is a legally protected right. We have opened the space to anyone who wants to come in.
