Volkswagen’s path in electric mobility began in 2013 with the brand’s first electric car – e-Up!, a small city car that marked a new stage in the company’s development. The compact e-Golf followed soon after, expanding the electric offering.

Over the years, the company has significantly expanded its range – from the compact class ID.3 to the largest and most spacious ID.7, which is considered the equivalent of the Passat in the electric segment. Looking to the future, in 2026 the concern plans to launch four new electric small cars on the market, two of which are ID. Polo and ID. Cross – will be under the Volkswagen brand.
