Bertrand Franchise appoints New Leadership for At the office and Volfoni
The French franchise group Bertrand Franchise has announced key leadership changes, entrusting Vincent Berthet with the management of At the Office and appointing Antoine Mortier to lead Volfoni.
Bertrand Franchise is strategically reinforcing its management team, assigning new roles to steer two of its rapidly expanding brands. Vincent Berthet will now head At the Office, while Antoine Mortier will take the reins at Volfoni.
Vincent Berthet to Lead At the Office
At the Office, established in 1989 and franchising as the 2000s, currently operates 210 locations, 199 of which are franchised.The restaurants offer a blend of advertising aesthetics,brasserie ambiance,and restaurant dining,featuring English pub-style dishes like fish’n’chips and burgers made with seasonal ingredients. According to Bertrand Franchise, “In the office is positioned as a leader in its sector and experiences very strong growth, with around twenty openings per year”.
Vincent Berthet, a 40-year-old graduate of ISEG Paris, will assume the role of Director General. His responsibilities include maintaining the brand’s market leadership and accelerating its expansion. Berthet’s history with At the Office began in 2009 as a Marketing Communication Product intern, later becoming Marketing Communication Manager before the brand was acquired by the bertrand group. After a brief departure in 2011, he returned in 2012 as a “Multi -signs franchisee at the office, Hippopotamus and Léon for ten years”. In 2023,he became director general of the brand Vault,before taking on his current role. “I will use my vision of franchisee, franchisor and restaurateur to, as a team, make important changes on the brand so that it retains its position as leader in its market”, said Vincent Berthet.

Antoine Mortier Appointed to Head Volfoni
Volfoni, Bertrand group’s Italian catering brand, embodies the spirit of 1950s trattorias. Since 2023, the brand has focused on expansion, opening restaurants across the country. “Volfoni now has 35 establishments, 90 % of which are frankly”. Following 15 openings in 2024, Bertrand Franchise intends to maintain this growth rate in 2025.
Antoine Mortier, 34, a graduate of Paris School of Business with a Master of Commerce, will be responsible for consolidating and accelerating Volfoni’s progress, strengthening its economic model, and enhancing brand recognition. Mortier joined the bertrand group in 2012 as a marketing intern and progressed through various marketing and operational roles. He contributed to the development of several brands, including “In the office, Bert’s, BDBK (Burger King branches)” and played a key role in refining the Volfoni model for franchising. “with the young and dynamic team that accompanies me, we have great ambitions for the brand and we are convinced that there is a huge place to take on the market”, declares Antoine Mortier.
Bertrand franchise currently encompasses “over 1,200 restaurants, generates 3 billion euros in sales on” including At the Office, Hippopotamus, joyo, Léon, Volfoni, Paradis du fruit, Hanoi ie Phê, Pitaya, Chik’chill, and Burger King.The group is opening new locations at a rate of one every two days, totaling over 150 new establishments annually.
