The Dorftheater Vogau cultural association is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To mark the anniversary, the group has planned a light-hearted comedy for this year’s Theater Days in the Vogau Cultural Hall.
Founded in 1995, it has been an integral part of social life in the market town of Straß in Styria ever since. What began as an idea from a few committed theater fans has developed into an annual fixture in the event program: over the past three decades, the association has brought a total of 27 plays to the stage – almost exclusively comedies, which have provided cheerfulness, variety and sociable evenings.
The anniversary is not only an occasion to celebrate, but also to thank: the audience
Market town of Straß, as well as numerous sponsors who have supported the work over the years. Recognition also goes to the founding members and all participants who have shaped the village theater with a lot of passion and commitment over the last 30 years – whether on or behind the stage.
At this year’s Theatertage in the Vogau Cultural Hall, the comedy “Therefore check how
you wind up forever” by Hans Schimmel on the schedule. Content: Bernie‘s goal in life is to protect his sex mates from marriage. For this purpose, he founded the marriage prevention institute “Stay alone, but happy” and supports men who are being pressured into marriage. It’s just unfortunate that the marriage initiation institute “Give the Bride a Chance” is located right opposite. The owner, Sigrid, is the
Archenemy of Bernie and helps her customers finally get married…
