Comic Con startet
The organizer Austrian Exhibition Experts GmbH started the anniversary weekend with free popcorn and a special screening of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Actor Kevin McNally, known as Mr. Gibbs from the film series, gives exclusive insights into the pirate world. For all guests with VIP tickets, this is the start of this year’s Vienna Comic Con.
“For the anniversary, we wanted to create a weekend that shows the entire spectrum of the VIECC,” say project managers Patrick Krippner and Chang Xue. The trade fair is celebrating its tenth anniversary and wants to bring together a particularly large number of subject areas this year. From fantasy to science fiction, from gaming to cosplay.
