The Media Lab at the ilioupolis Municipal Library is hosting a workshop to help individuals discover the potential of the internet and express their creativity through accessible tools and free software. The workshop aims to equip participants with practical skills applicable to everyday life.

A session specifically focused on “Edit Video” will take place at the Media Lab premises of the Municipal Library of Ilioupolis on Thursday, june 5, 2025, 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

Participants will learn how to import videos and photos,apply transition effects,incorporate background music,and add titles and captions. The workshop will also cover storing projects and publishing them online using both installed and cloud-based free programs.

Expert Instruction

The workshop will be led by Stathis Nikolakopoulos, an Electronic Engineer from the Municipality of Ilioupolis. Nikolakopoulos is a certified adult trainer with the national Organization for Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPEPP) and the National Center for Public management and Self-Government (EDDA).

Who Can Attend

The program is designed for individuals aged 18 and older.

Workshop groups will be formed based on registration order, with priority given to library members and residents of Ilioupolis.
