World champion Red Paul, Dutchman Max Versaben, outperformed the British McLaren duo Lando Norris and Australian Oscar Pastari, and only won his third victory this season by controlling the Italian Grand Prix, the sixteenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship, today at the Montsa circuit.
The world champion for the past four years started from the first place that he got yesterday at the fastest time ever in the history of the tournament, and maintained it from the beginning to the end, except for a short period of time when he was asked to allow Nouris to overcome him because of the Dutch departure from the ring, but he quickly regained him to the sixty -sixth victory in his career.
Versaben ended the race by nearly 20 seconds from the McLaren duo, while the Ferrari L -Lucleer driver of Monaco and the British Lewis Hamilton came in fourth and sixth places in front of the “Scoderia” fans, including the other British Mercedes driver, George Russell.
Thus, Versaben returned to the first degree from the coronation platform for the first time since the seventh round, when it was also won in Italy during the Emilia Romania Award at the Imola circuit, but this victory did not affect much in the overall ranking that Pacide topped with 324 points against his colleague Norris (293) and Red Ball driver (230).
In the category of manufacturers, it would be almost impossible to deprive McLaren of the second title in a row, as the British team strengthened its lead after raising its score from 584 points to 617 by obtaining the second and third places, ahead of Ferrari (280) and Mercedes (260) and Red Ball (239).
