The Tour de France is the biggest event in cycling, and in July we’re covering it from every angle.

Veteran road race correspondents Andrew Hood, Andy McGrath, Brecht Decaluwé, and Chris Marshall-Bell will be embedded at the races, filing dispatches, chasing interviews, and bringing you what the cameras miss.
They’ll be joined by Jim Cotton and Shane Stokes, covering daily news and the inevitable mid-Tour controversies.
And new for this year, we will have live stage updates on Velo courtesy of longtime reporter Pete Cossins, offering running commentary and real-time analysis as the race unfolds.

After each stage, Mike Levy hosts Velo’s daily Tour podcastcalling in to our reporters in the field and editors back home for sharp takes, and a little levity.

Top Tour tech
Riders win the Tour, but they rely on ever-evolving tech to help them stay ahead of the competition. Shoddy Dave will be at the start of the men’s and women’s races snooping around for all the latest gear, tech trends, and prototypes. Tech editors Alvin Holbrook and Josh Ross will back it up with original analysis and features on the gear that matters, as well as insights about what the riders are using and why.
Performance and analysis
What does it take to follow Pogačar on a summit finish? Zach Nehr will bring the data in his power analysis articles that provide context to the otherworldly performances of the world’s top riders.
And Jim Cotton will be exploring the nutrition and training strategies that are pushing Tour speeds to new levels.
