The old village pump on the Markt in Valkenswaard, which was without a trace for years, is in its familiar place again. The monumental object appeared in a garden some time ago, after which it was renovated and restored.
The pump has since been put back in operation, but in a contemporary way: with a sensor. In this way the historic pump is connected to modern technology, so that residents and visitors can see the water flow again.
With the festive opening, a piece of History of Valkenswaard comes to life again. Watch it in the video below.
