The US Open – Tereza Valentová (18) has fulfilled the role of a favorite in her premiere match at an adult US Open. In the first round of qualification, the number two coped with 6: 2, 6: 4 with a former member of the TOP 30 ranking Mona Barthel. Dominika Šalková (21) went to the next round and Linda Fruhvirtová (20) will enter the last Grand Slam of the season. Barbora Palicová (21) said goodbye at the beginning.

If the application for the main competition were closed now, Valentová would get directly to the main competition. In the top 100 world ranking, however, she made her debut only a few weeks ago and has to undergo a demanding three -round qualification at its premiere at the adult US Open.
It started with a relatively smooth victory. In the opening act of the former world twenty -three Barthel, she did not allow much. In the current year, she has already triumphed four times on the ITF or tournaments of the WTA 125K series, and after the first place in the port, she made it to the semifinals at the Livesport Prague Open, which is its best result on the main tour so far.
He is still gathering experience on adults. The debut last year’s Junior French Open champion recently in Paris and looked from the qualification until the second round. In Wimbledon, on the other hand, she had to bite the cruelest defeat of her career when she did not make a great lead in the final of the qualification.

The procedure of Valentová was followed by Šalková, who also starts at the US Open for the first time in her career. In the opening round of the qualification, however, quite superior and deployed fourteen Julie Grabher defeated after almost two hours.
