UW-Stevens Point Concerts: Jazz & Wind Music in February

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host a series of concerts in February, according to a community announcement.

The events will take place at both the Stevens Point and Marshfield campuses. Most concerts at the Stevens Point campus will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Michelsen Hall in the Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage St. Tickets are $18 for the general public, $16 for seniors and $10 for youths under 18 and university employees. UWSP students can attend for free.

Concerts at the Marshfield campus will also start at 7:30 p.m. at the Helen Connor Laird Theatre, 2000 W. Fifth St. Tickets are $10 per person.

Tickets for all events are available at uwsptickets.universitytickets.com, by calling 715-346-4100 or at each campus’ box office one hour prior to the event.

February concert schedule

Concerts in February include:

• Feb. 6 − 34th annual Jazz Festival at the Stevens Point campus
• Feb. 13 − Hub City Winds Concert at the Marshfield campus
• Feb. 26 − Wind Symphony and Symphonic Wind Ensemble at the Stevens Point campus
