Linz – In the case of the incorrect removal of a healthy uterus at the Kepler University Hospital (KUK), the Linz magistrate has initiated an inspection as part of sanitary supervision. Medical officers and lawyers would now examine how the misdiagnosis could have come about, informed City Councilor for Health Michael Raml (FPÖ) on Wednesday afternoon. As the district administrative authority, the magistrate is responsible for the state-owned Upper Austrian hospital in the city.
