USA Diving Winter Nationals 2025: Hoffman & Sturgill Compete

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Two members of the No. 6 Rutgers diving program are heading to Texas this week to compete in the 2025 USA Diving Winter Nationals. Katerina Hoffman and Bailee Sturgill will be in action this week at the event at the COM Aquatics venue in Midland, Texas.

The event begins on December 10 with qualifiers. Wednesday’s qualifiers are for the 1M and Platform, while Thursday’s qualifiers are for the 3M. Preliminaries and finals run from December 12 through 16.

Katerina Hoffman is set to compete on the 1 M, 3M and the synchronized platform. Prelims/finals for those events run from Saturday through Monday.

Bailee Sturgill is set to compete on the 3M, as well as the synchronized platform and synchronized 3M. Prelims/finals for those events run from Sunday through Tuesday.

Saturday is the 1M, Sunday is the 3M, Monday is the synchronized platform and Tuesday is the synchronized 3M.

At this event last year, Sturgill was the synchronized 3M champion. This will be her fourth appearance overall at Winter Nationals.

At this event last year, Hoffman placed fourth in the synchronized 3M, eighth on the 3M and 11th in the 1M. This year will be her fifth-straight Winter Nationals appearance.
