The athletes from ASV Zadra-fighting/rothoblaas returned from the International Plateau Open in Mieming (Tyrol) with great results, in which 214 Taekwondokas from three nations and 17 clubs took part.

In the black belt class for women and men, the Kurtatscher martial artists secured two gold, two silver and three bronze medals, while in the color belt classes the result was two gold, two silver and three bronze.

In the men’s black belt class -68 kg, Tobias won both of his fights, including the final, and took the well-deserved gold medal. A strong performance. There was another day’s victory for Anna Datz in the U-18 youth +68 kg.

Thomas Mittermair also took silver in the black belt category in the U-18 youth +78 kg. Jennifer Schwertner came in a good 3rd place this year in the women’s (+18) category in the -57 kg lightweight class. Club colleague Gabriele Cera also took bronze in the men’s -80 kg class.
