The athletes from ASV Zadra-fighting/rothoblaas returned from the International Plateau Open in Mieming (Tyrol) with great results, in which 214 Taekwondokas from three nations and 17 clubs took part.

In the black belt class for women and men, the Kurtatscher martial artists secured two gold, two silver and three bronze medals, while in the color belt classes the result was two gold, two silver and three bronze.
In the men’s black belt class -68 kg, Tobias won both of his fights, including the final, and took the well-deserved gold medal. A strong performance. There was another day’s victory for Anna Datz in the U-18 youth +68 kg.
Markus Zadra also competed in the general class of men (+18) in the heavyweight +80 kg and won silver. The 60-year-old was able to fight his way to the final, where he had to give way to a German athlete who was 40 years younger than him. Thomas Mittermair also took silver in the black belt category in the U-18 youth +78 kg. Jennifer Schwertner came in a good 3rd place this year in the women’s (+18) category in the -57 kg lightweight class. Club colleague Gabriele Cera also took bronze in the men’s -80 kg class.
In the color belt classes, Luis Mittelberger and Leo Condin each won gold, while Andreatta Gabriele and Paul Mittelberger won silver. Bronze went to Greta Lang, Markus Lemayr and Jasin Previzi.
