onset initially doubted the effectiveness of exercising without a gym but has since seen positive results from his workouts along the Avenida Paseo Caroní. Despite living some distance away, he finds the comfort and accessibility of the area worth the trip.
Weather Impacts Training Schedules
There are times when I train in the rain, that depends a lot on how I feel that day.
Jesús Quiñones, a resident of el Caimito, frequents the area solely for exercise.Instead of using the machines, he incorporates the space into his running route, covering five to eight kilometers on his days off.
Quiñones typically jogs almost every day except sundays, using the exercise machines on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Both Quiñones and onset prefer to train in the afternoons.
The number of people using the space varies depending on the weather. Quiñones noted that even rain doesn’t always deter him, depending on how he feels that day.
