The vibrant energy of electronic music has once again taken the Miami Downtown with the arrival of the twenty -fifth edition of the Ultra Music Festival. Since 4 pm on Friday, thousands of fans have begun to fill the accesses to Bayfront Park, eager to live one of the most iconic experiences of electronic music worldwide.
This event, which will run until Sunday, promises a luxury poster with some of the most influential figures of the genre. Names such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren head a program designed to offer a high -level show to the more than 150 thousand expected attendees during the three days of the festival.
The magnitude of the festival has led the authorities to deploy a wide security operation in the Miami Downtown. Captain Freddy Cruz, from the Miami Police, stressed the effort to guarantee order:
“There will be enough police in uniform and undercover officers for the security of the event and residents. We ask you if they come to the event, respect the laws.”
For its part, the Fire Department has also joined preventive planning. Lieutenant Pete Sánchez stressed the importance of hydration and security within the enclosure.
“Firefighters from the city of Miami will have more than 100 firefighters, paramedics and inspectors daily at the event. We recommend you drink a lot of water and learn about emergency exits.”
The Ultra Miami maintains strict standards on the allowed objects within the festival. Illegal substances, weapons, food and external drinks are prohibited, as well as backpacks and bags that are not transparent. However, attendees can enter with hydration bags, non -professional cameras and sunscreen.
The festival not only transforms the music scene of the city, but also significantly alters the vehicular flow. Biscayne Boulevard’s key segments have been closed, which has led the authorities to recommend the use of alternative transport.
“If you can use another type of public transport … an uber … whatever … that is what we recommend because there are thousands of people who come to the Downtown area,” Captain Cruz explained.
With an imposing scenario, an unprecedented technological deployment and an environment loaded with adrenaline, the Ultra Miami 2025 already marks the pace of the weekend in the city of the Sun.
