The Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reminded that the Russian General Staff announced the full occupation of the city on November 20. That is why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy greeted the Ukrainian soldiers in a video message from Kupyansk on the occasion of Ground Forces Day.
The town of Kostyantinyivka in Donetsk County, which is only 20 kilometers from Kramatorsk, has become a complete pile of rubble, the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior announced, presenting the footage taken by the police patrol regiment’s aerial reconnaissance of the settlement.
The city, which was bubbling with life and hard work for decades, now lies in ruins. Burnt blocks of houses, destroyed kindergartens, shot up churches. Every day, the occupiers are literally moving from district to district, erasing the city from the face of the earth”
– the ministry wrote in its statement.
The Ukrainian 24th mechanized brigade also published an almost 23-minute video report on Kostyantinyivka, partly about how the dead are buried in the courtyards of houses in the city. “The enemy is indiscriminately shooting residential areas, churches and civilian infrastructure with all kinds of weapons. They are blocking roads to shops and attacking civilian cars with drones.” residents said in the documentary.
