According to him, Putin did not show himself in the best way.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that Ukraine is ready to fight for another three years, but Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be able to withstand that much. Clash Report writes about this.
“Ukraine is preparing for another three-year war, and such colonial wars usually last about ten years. I don’t think Putin will be able to withstand another three years,” he said.
According to him, Putin did not show himself in the best way.
“We thought that he had the second-largest army in the world, and he thought that it would be a cakewalk, a three-day operation. More than 10 years have passed, and he is still fighting in the Donbass. I would not call it a victory,” Sikorsky said.
He also called on the EU to play a more active role in negotiations on a future peace settlement. The diplomat added:
“I hope the US will continue to supply Ukraine with intelligence. Of course, Poland pays for Starlink terminals, ammunition for US weapons designed for air defense and long-range strikes is also important.”
War in Ukraine – expert forecasts
Previously, The Economist deputy editor Edward Carr wrote that if a full-scale war in Ukraine lasts until June 10, 2026, it will be longer than the First World War.
He said the fighting had reached a stalemate, but Russia’s high command continued to waste the lives of soldiers in one doomed attack after another.
