At the same time, she notes that many of them do not work, they hide so as not to be stopped by the TCC workers.
About 1.5 million men of military age in Ukraine are wanted because they have not updated their data in the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC). People’s Deputy of Ukraine Galina Yanchenko said this on Ranok.LIVE.
“You will be surprised, this is space. 1.5 million men of military age have not updated their data and, accordingly, are wanted,” she noted.
At the same time, she added that if such men are stopped by the TCC, they will end up in training centers.
“Even if they find a job at a defense enterprise that can book 100% of its workers, then in order to get a job at this enterprise, previously these men had to go through the military examination and update their data. Namely, representatives of the TCC were waiting for them at the military examination. In fact, there was a vicious circle: defense enterprises are critically short of people, and at the same time, one and a half million men, who for the most part do not work anywhere, but sit at home, hiding,” Yanchenko emphasized.
At the same time, she said that the bill, which was adopted last week by the Ukrainian Parliament, is designed to break this circle. According to her, this bill allows defense companies to reserve potential workers temporarily for 45 days.
Yanchenko said that Ukrainian arms manufacturers will have a potential human resource of 1.5 million people, and at the same time, men will actually get a second chance – to return to an active economic life, find work, strengthen the country’s defense capability and earn good money.
According to the people’s deputy, in the defense sector now salaries range from 20-30 thousand hryvnia, in particular, for an assembler of FPV drones, and if we are talking about engineers, about those who develop new technologies, then the salary can be several thousand dollars.
Mobilization in Ukraine
As UNIAN reported, on October 9, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that, in particular, allows enterprises to book workers liable for military service who do not have military registration documents, have not specified the details, or are wanted.
It stipulates that all employees liable for military service of critical enterprises, as well as enterprises of the military-industrial complex who do not have or have an improperly issued military registration document, or who are not registered with the military, or who have not specified personal data, and also if such an employee is wanted by the TCC, are subject to reservation.
The duration of such a reservation should not exceed 45 calendar days from the date of concluding an employment contract with such an employee and is provided no more than once in one calendar year.
