For his part, Duglas Alexander, British Minister of Commercial Policy and Economic Security, gave a written answer to the parliamentary question, stressing that the British Minister of Foreign Affairs signed a number of memoranda of understanding when he visited Morocco, pledging to work for the British Ministry of Business and Trade and the British Commercial Envoy with Morocco to consolidate relations, indicating that the British Export Finance Agency gives funding worth 5 billion pounds, and can support Projects in Western Sahara, provided that the requirements for the British Export Finance Agency are met.
The written answer stated: “In the wake of the recent foreign minister’s visit to Morocco, the two kingdoms signed several memoranda of understanding to enhance partnerships between the sectors.
