The Slavists managed to turn around the unfavorable development of the match against the Norwegian Brann in the Champions League. Vasil Kušej and Youssoupha Mboj decided after conceding a goal from the penalty in the second half. Muhammed Cham assisted on both goals.

The beginning of the match was marked by a balanced game, with the ball moving from side to side. However, over time, the fans took the initiative, holding the ball on their boots. Despite several promising situations, however, they did not reach the conclusion for a long time. The Norwegians threatened only sporadically, the well-organized defense of the sewn ones did not allow them more space.

Sanyang created the first significant opportunity, but its shot was blocked by the opponent’s defense. Brann, on the other hand, shot inaccurately.

After half an hour of play, Michal Sadílek won a free kick, which the opponent’s goalkeeper took with his fingertips over the crossbar and managed the subsequent corner kick. Further Slavist attempts did not ripple the net. The Sišivani were only able to outwit their opponents from Jindřich Staňek, but Sadílek’s finish went over the goal.

Brann also threatened from a set piece, the ball narrowly missing the right post after a free kick. Even before the break, Provod tried his luck from behind the goal, but his attempt was inaccurate.

After the change of sides, Jindřich Staněk had to box out the ball in the opponent’s center. Another direct kick by Provod ended up in the wall, a moment later the same player fired from behind the goal directly into the places where the goalkeeper was standing. The famous players pressed the opponent, David Zima got to the rebounded ball, whose successful shot was eliminated by the goalkeeper Branna with an even better save.

However, out of nowhere, the opponent struck. Hashioka fouled in the penalty area and Emil Kornvig opened the scoring from the penalty, although Staněk caught the shot direction – 0:1.

A mass lineup change followed, with only Jindřich Staněk remaining in goal. The Celebrants, with fresh forces, again dictated the pace of the game and tried to equalize, most often attacking on the right side. The Norwegians also revived their game.

Ten minutes before the end came a passage of several blocked shots stitched together. However, the equalizer came in the 84th minute, when Muhammed Cham found a running Vasil Kušej with a technical lob, who beat the goalkeeper with a volley – 1:1.

The conversion was completed by Cham shortly after after a short corner kick. The subsequent cross found Youssoupha Mbodji, who sent the Slavists into the lead with a header – 2:1.
