SAN PEDRO CHOLULA, Pue.– The excitement of the U-21 Beach Volleyball World Championship is felt in San Pedro Cholula, where as of Wednesday, October 15, the official competitions will begin on the esplanade of Parque Soria, right in front of the majestic Great Pyramid of Cholula, one of the most emblematic settings in Puebla.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth announced that since this weekend, international delegations began to arrive and various pairs from participating countries train in the Cholulteca arena. There are teams from Japan, Italy, the United States, Germany, Australia, Poland, the Netherlands, Hungary, Latvia and Malaysia, who have started their practice sessions early in the morning with the aim of adapting to local conditions.
In addition to recognizing the course, the athletes have focused their preparation on adjusting to the altitude above sea level and the climate of the region, factors that will be determining during the competition.
The U21 Beach Volleyball World Championship will officially begin on Wednesday, October 15 at 8:00 a.m. The public will be able to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, and enjoy up close the international youth talent and the intensity of beach volleyball.
