Elizabeth Ryan, 61, one of the winning members, shared her excitement. She plans to use some of her winnings to support her family, including a visit to Taiwan to surprise her daughter.
“I’ll go on a holiday with my husband and give some to my son and my daughter, who lives in Taiwan. I’ll send some money to her. I haven’t told her yet. I’ll be letting her know to check her bank account.”
Each member of the syndicate will receive €7,353, highlighting the collective joy and financial windfall of their group effort.
