Mert Shener, the president of the Turkish educational federation (TEF), anticipates that the number of foreign students attending Turkish universities will reach an impressive 500,000 by 2028. This ambitious target builds upon the already substantial base of approximately 340,000 international students currently studying within the country’s borders.
