A rescue team from the IHH humanitarian organization saved a man in a wheelchair while the flames advanced on his home in the province of Esmirna, Türkiye. The fires, fueled by strong winds, have forced to evacuate several coastal towns and neighborhoods. The authorities report significant damage and dozens of people had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
