Turek, Nacher & Muradov: Czech Authorities Issue | News

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) already commented on this meeting for Deník N, which came with the information about Monday’s dinner of MPs with the wrestler, saying that “Nacher will definitely not go there again”.

The dinner took place in a restaurant in the center of Prague, near the Charles Bridge, and the Turk himself boasted about the meeting with Nacher and Muradov on his Instagram profile.

Muradov commented on Monday’s dinner with Turk, Nacher and others by saying that it was not a meeting. “We just had food and chatted,” the wrestler responded to the server.

Apart from the photo published on the network, the Turk did not comment on the meeting. Nacher defended himself by saying that he had no idea about Muradov’s problems with the authorities. “I didn’t know that, I know him from the media as a successful athlete. Don’t you think that if I had those details, I would take a picture in a public place and put it on the net?” the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives and a long-time ANO deputy told Deník N.

Muradov, however, will no longer receive a residence permit following last year’s decision by the Czech Ministry of the Interior, which was also confirmed by the Prague courts, and the Constitutional Court also rejected the wrestler’s complaint. He even allegedly received a deadline to leave the Czech Republic, but he is still here legally due to another lawsuit and complaint, which the courts have not yet decided on.

“The Constitutional Court has familiarized itself with the content of the classified information, which was the basis for the decision of the Ministry of the Interior, and agrees (…) that it reveals facts indicating that the complainant could seriously disrupt public order,” the constitutional judges stated last year, according to Denik N, why they agreed to reject Muradov’s request to extend his stay in the Czech Republic.

Muradov failed in the Czech authorities and courts due to the suspicion that he is connected to the Balkan underworld. He himself refuses to cooperate with organized crime, but the police say otherwise.

“He could seriously disturb public order,” reads the resolution of the Ministry of the Interior, which refers to classified information from the National Center against Organized Crime (NCOZ). “In relation to the content of the currently provided classified information, the active links of the applicant to the environment of ‘Balkan organized crime’ can be pointed out more closely,” reads the document of the interior, which Deník N quotes.

In addition to the two MPs and Muradov, another wrestler and professional kickboxer Pavel Plešinec also attended the dinner, who, according to the server, moves around the Turk. He too had a run-in with the law in the form of an indictment for a severe attack on a high-ranking official of the town hall in Bor in the Tachovsk region, who subsequently ended up permanently bedridden. But the court of first instance acquitted Plešinec of the charges, stating that it is not 100% certain that the kickboxer was the one who led the attack. The case will still be heard by the Court of Appeal.

The last of the participants of the event was the well-known barber Laky Royal, who also showed off a photo from the dinner on social media. “Charles Bridge, excellent food, clear head. Fish & chips, water and conversations that make the evening meaningful. A small ritual in the middle of the city. A beautiful place and an excellent chef,” the barber wrote on Monday under a photo with Turk and Nacher.
