Honoring Valor: A Call to Young storytellers

from April 25th to May 20th, the nationwide patriotic campaign, Chronicle of the Hearts, will unfold, inviting schoolchildren to delve into the heroic narratives of their homeland.This year’s event is especially significant, coinciding with the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The initiative seeks to connect younger generations with the profound history of their nation,emphasizing the courage and selflessness of those who fought for peace.

Unearthing Local legends: A Creative Competition

The Chronicle of the Hearts competition encourages students to explore and share stories of regional or familial heroes. Participants can submit either a short film or a written account that highlights individuals who embody resilience and patriotism. These submissions should be uploaded to the participant’s personal account on the “Cultural House -Room.rf” portal.

The deadline for submissions is May 20th. A panel of experts will then review the entries, selecting the top 100 submissions to be featured on the “Cultural House -Roofers.rf” website.

Culture for Schoolchildren: A Collaborative Effort

The Culture for Schoolchildren project, under which Chronicle of the Hearts falls, is a joint venture by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Ministry of Education of Russia. It is implemented in collaboration with the Center for Cultural Strategies and Project Management (Roskultproekt) and the Russian Culture Fund. This collaborative approach underscores the importance of fostering cultural awareness and patriotic values among young people.
