After a surprising runner-up finish last season, TSV Buchbach is preparing for a new challenge as they begin training for the Bayern football regional league. The team is aware that expectations are now higher than ever.

Coach Aleksandro Petrovic anticipates a competitive season, stating, “Some clubs, including our neighbors from Burghausen, have not liked that we will have passed the finish line in front of them. Accordingly, I assume an exciting season.” He hopes the team can secure “a carefree season in the upper half as possible.”

The squad largely remains intact, with a few departures including Maximilian Manghofer, Levin Ramstetter (both to SV Erlbach), Julian Rabenseifner (loan to TSV Amping), and Leon Tutic (destination unknown). To compensate,defender Alexander Mehring (22) from FC Deisenhofen,midfielder Reza Sakhi Zada ​​(21) from SV heimstetten,and attacker Adrian Alexy (19) from SV Walpertskirchen have joined the team.

Sports director Andreas Bichlmaier is aiming for stability and a single-digit placement in the league. Pre-Season Friendlies and Tournaments

TSV Buchbach has a series of pre-season matches scheduled. On June 21, they will face Bayernliga promoted FC SF Schwaig in Taufkirchen. The following day, they will play a charity match against SpVgg Unterhaching in Langengeisling. On July 5th, the team will participate in a tournament in Wittibreut with Wacker Burghausen and TSV 1860 Munich II. the season officially kicks off a day later.Another notable event is a friendly against Al-Nasr SV from the United Arab Emirates on July 16 in Bad Gögging,followed by the first cup round on July 19 and the start of the league season a week later.
