Since September, US forces have targeted more than 20 suspected drug trafficking vessels in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific, killing at least 83 people.

But Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro denounced a military maneuver aimed at overthrowing him and seizing his country’s oil reserves.
Donald Trump has authorized clandestine CIA actions in Venezuela and does not rule out military intervention, while ensuring that he will speak with Mr. Maduro.
