US President Donald Trump said yesterday that he will issue instructions to federal agencies to begin publishing government files related to aliens and unidentified flying objects, and he attributed this to what he described as great popular interest in this issue.
In a social media post, Trump said he would order Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other agencies to release the information, calling it “very interesting and important.”
Earlier the same day, Trump accused former President Barack Obama of inappropriately revealing classified information when discussing aliens in public, and said Obama “made a terrible mistake.”
Trump told reporters while heading to Georgia: “He took it out of the scope of classified information… He was not supposed to do that.”
