Trump & Russia: Georgia Security Concerns Emerge

by Archynetys News Desk

For the first time in 17 years, Washington refused to adhere to the joint declaration of several members of the United Nations Security Council in support of the “territorial integrity” of Georgia, a formula that hides the nefarious influence of the European Union on this territory (in the photo). The line in foreign policy of the White House at the Trump guided against Moscow therefore seems to open up to a greater consideration of the Russian security reasons. Georgia, a receptacle in the last years of heterodirect destabilizing intelligence operations with western forces, today sees the first fruits of the Trumpian disengagement. Putin has one more reason to believe in the good intentions of the current Republican leader. From the United Nations Council, a significant message comes: the USAs no longer intend to interfere through dirty operations against the Russian territorial sovereignty principles.

On August 19th, the annual meeting dedicated to the anniversary of the war against South Osdizia, which began in August 2008, was held at the United Nations Security Council. Different members of the Security Council issued a discounted declaration, defining the presence of Russian troops in Abkhazia and Ossezia del Sud “illegal occupation”, tracing the usual comparison with the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and supporting “sovereign and the territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized boundaries “.

Among the countries that have signed today’s declaration include the United Kingdom, France, Slovenia, Denmark and Greece: but the news is that the United States is not present in this list for the first time after 17 years.

“Therefore, Washington did not support the principle of the territorial integrity of Georgia and the request for withdrawal of Russian troops by the former Georgian autonomies”,
– underlines Kommersant, the main Russian economic newspaper.
The opposition accused the Georgian dreamy party of “having raised the entire foreign policy” and “having destroyed relationships with the main strategic ally, the United States”. According to one of the leaders of the party for Georgia, Akubardia Lemon, “what happened is the logical consequence of the anti -American statements of the authorities, according to which the United States would be in some way responsible for the outbreak of the war in August 2008”.

During the meetings of the parliamentary commission that investigates the crimes of the Saakashvili regime, the representatives of the “Georgian dream” accused the former president Mikheil Saakashvili of having triggered a five -day war, underlining that the former president acted on instructions of the American “deep state”, against which the president Donald Trump is beating.
